Yes, and the same restrictions apply on both sides of the programme: if FTMO cannot provide services to someone as a client, we also cannot pay them as an affiliate. Referred orders from restricted countries do not generate commissions, and affiliates residing in restricted countries cannot receive payouts.
Who can become a partner
The Affiliate Programme has two restrictions of its own, on top of the client restrictions: residents and nationals of Vietnam and Pakistan cannot join the Affiliate Programme. Clients from these countries can still be referred, subject to the product availability below. The restriction applies to becoming a partner.
Who can be referred, and where the authoritative lists live

United States eligibility scope (FTMO US)
For the purposes of eligibility, the United States includes the 50 states as well as the following U.S. territories: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, we do not currently accept entities from Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, or South Carolina.
FTMO Futures availability is narrower than FTMO Challenges
FTMO Futures is available to individuals only: companies, legal entities, businesses and self-employed registrations are not accepted, so a company cannot be referred to FTMO Futures.
Futures access also differs by country, and for what you can earn there are three cases:
- FTMO Futures available: subscription and Account Reset commissions apply. Some of these countries allow a Sim-Funded Account but not a Live Funded Account, but that difference affects the trader’s journey, not your commissions.
- FTMO Challenges only: no FTMO Futures at all, so Challenge commissions only.
- Fully restricted: no services, no commissions, and no affiliate payouts to residents.
