Apart from the exceptions listed below, FTMO Futures is available to clients globally, and we accept registrations from natural persons only.
If you are already registered with FTMO as a self-employed person or a legal entity, please contact us at [email protected] for more information on the next steps.
No specific qualifications are required. Whether you are a beginner or already know your way around trading and are interested in improving yourself, you’re the person we’re looking for.
FTMO Futures availability is subject to internal business decisions and changes in compliance with evolving legal and regulatory standards. Also, please note that not all countries are eligible to receive a Live Funded Account. More information is available in the FAQ “Who is eligible for a Live Funded Account?“.
Clients residing in the United States
For clients residing in the United States, eligibility is assessed on residency, not on nationality.
For eligibility purposes, the United States includes the 50 states as well as the following U.S. territories: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, we do not currently accept residents of the following US states: Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, and South Carolina.
FTMO does not provide FTMO Futures to the following categories of individuals:
- Persons under the age of 18;
- Individuals listed on international sanctions lists;
- Individuals with a criminal record related to financial crime or terrorism;
- Persons previously banned due to a breach of contract;
As a legal US resident, you must also meet the following conditions:

- You will be required to provide proof of ownership for the U.S. bank account where you wish to receive your Payout when requested. The bank must be a fully licensed and regulated banking institution. Fintech and digital-only payment institutions (e.g., Wise, Chime) are not accepted.
- All FTMO Traders are required to submit a completed IRS Form (W-9) as part of the process for receiving their first Payout.
