What will be your agenda?
- Accounting for received and issued invoices.
- Maintaining accounting records in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Participation in and coordination of the internal cost approval workflow.
- Preparation of bank imports, reconciliation of bank balances.
- Regular accounts inventory.
- Collaboration in preparing corporate and GST returns.
- Preparation of annual financial statements.
- Communication with auditors, preparation of supporting documents.
- Collaboration in preparing consolidated financial statements for Group purposes.
- Handling intercompany/intra-Group transactions.
- Preparation of internal accounting policies and guidelines.
- Communication with tax and other authorities.
- Collaboration in the preparation of internal reports.
- Handling ad-hoc tasks in accounting and finance.
- Accuracy of accounting records – minimal number of mistakes and their timely correction.
- Meeting deadlines.
- Positive feedback from internal customers as well as external consultants, auditors and other stakeholders.
- Smooth handling of the closure of annual accounts and audit.
- Implementation of digitalization initiatives in accounting.
What do we expect from you?
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and are capable of working independently to find solutions to problems. However, there's no need to worry; there will always be someone available to help and provide guidance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is a requirement for us (functions like VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS, working with pivot tables, and handling large datasets).
- A good understanding of accounting and tax regulations.
- An active approach to work, with the ability and willingness to further develop.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new applications and software that assist us in our work.
- If you have at least four years of experience managing complex accounting, including preparing financial statements, reports and tax calculations, you are our candidate.
- Secondary education in business or economics.
- Experience in foreign exchange (FX) brokerage would be ideal but if you do not have that knowledge, do not hesitate to apply. We will be happy to teach you the specifics of the brokerage business.
- Salary is negotiable upon experience.
