Java Developer

Seize the opportunity and become part of the rapidly growing startup FTMO.com. We are looking for a new team member to develop our applications and APIs, primarily in Java and partially in Kotlin. The ideal candidate is a Java expert who wants to be part of a meaningful project with visible results on a global scale.

What will be your agenda?

You will be part of a team responsible for our Identity Provider.
You will contribute to the entire project, from architecture to development and testing.
We use a microservices approach and modern technologies within Kubernetes.
Your daily work will involve REST APIs, the Spring Boot framework, Java, Kotlin (a plus), Kafka, Elastic, JS, HTML, CSS, Git, and Docker.
You will be developing a distributed system and backend APIs.

What do we expect from you?

Ability to independently design solutions and develop them autonomously.
Knowledge of SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
At least 2 years of professional experience with Java and the Spring framework.
Willingness to learn Kotlin.
Experience in designing REST APIs.
Experience with ElasticSearch and Kafka is an advantage.
Knowledge of OAuth or Keycloak is a plus.
You are a motivated, independent developer who can also be a team player and wants to grow.
Theoretical knowledge of software development.
Fluent communication in English is essential – we are an international team.
