The maximum total capital allocation is calculated across all FTMO Accounts, regardless of whether they were created through FTMO Challenge: 1-Step or FTMO Challenge: 2-Step.
Once you become an FTMO Trader, you will trade on an FTMO Account with the same account balance size that you selected when ordering your FTMO Challenge. For example, if you traded with a $200,000 balance in your FTMO Challenge, your FTMO Account will also have a fictitious balance of $200,000.
To avoid any confusion, please note that all accounts provided by FTMO are demo accounts using fictitious capital. After becoming an FTMO Trader, you will receive login credentials to a FTMO Account Rewards are paid based on the results generated on the FTMO Account, in accordance with the conditions of the respective product.
If you wish to trade with a higher account balance, you may apply for an additional FTMO Challenge. Each FTMO Challenge must be traded from the beginning, regardless of whether you have successfully completed one in the past.
The maximum total capital allocation is limited to $400,000 per trader or strategy at any given time. This may consist, for example, of two $200,000 FTMO Accounts or four $100,000 FTMO Accounts. Please note that holding multiple accounts through different registrations is not permitted. If identical trading strategies are detected across multiple FTMO Accounts exceeding the $400,000 allocation limit, FTMO reserves the right to suspend the affected accounts in accordance with the FTMO Account Agreement.
If you demonstrate long-term consistency and profitability on your FTMO Account, additional capital may be allocated in accordance with our Scaling Plan.
