Once you become an FTMO Trader, you will trade on an
FTMO Account with the account balance size
you selected when ordering your FTMO Challenge.
FTMO Challenge: 2-Step
For traders who qualify through theFTMO Challenge: 2-Step, the FTMO Account balance corresponds to the account size selected during the FTMO Challenge and the subsequent Verification stage.
After becoming an FTMO Trader, you are provided with a demo account
using fictitious capital. Depending on your status and eligibility, you may be entitled to receive up to90% of the results generated on the FTMO Account, in accordance with the applicable programmes (such as the Prime Status and the Scaling Plan).
FTMO Challenge: 1-Step
For traders who qualify through the FTMO Challenge: 1-Step, the FTMO Account balance corresponds directly to the account size selected when ordering the FTMO Challenge: 1-Step.
FTMO Traders who qualify through the FTMO Challenge: 1-Step are entitled to receive 90% of the results generated on the FTMO Account, in accordance with the applicable programmes (such as the Prime Status and the Scaling Plan).
There are no account size upgrade options during an active FTMO Account. For this reason, it is important to select the appropriate account size when configuring your FTMO Challenge.
You may start additional FTMO Challenges at any time. Upon successfully completing another FTMO Challenge, you may be provided with an additional FTMO Account. Please note that the maximum total capital allocation is $400,000 per trader or strategy.
If you demonstrate long-term consistency and meet the eligibility criteria, your FTMO Account balance may be increased under the Scaling Plan.
A scale-up can only be requested during the Reward withdrawal process, directly in the Client Area. If approved, a scaled-up FTMO Account will be provided for the next trading period.
