What is 'Trading according to a real market'?

What is 'Trading according to a real market'?

Trading must be legitimate, and traders must not use practices that they would not use if trading on a real market. A strategy is allowed as long as it does not interfere with legitimate trading, exploit the simulated environment, or constitute a Forbidden Trading Practice.

Please note that the Evaluation and Sim-Funded stages are simulated, using fictitious capital with market quotes based on the real market. We emulate the conditions of a real market and require proper risk management, because consistent, genuine trading is what may ultimately qualify you for a Live Funded Account with real capital.

We recommend that you familiarise yourself with Forbidden Trading Practices before you start.
