Which instruments can I trade with FTMO Futures?
The FTMO Futures offering currently includes 30 instruments across the most actively traded markets — metals, energies, equity indices, cryptocurrencies, and FX. These are split into two contract types: 19 mini (E-mini) contracts and 11 micro contracts. The full symbol lists are shown in the tables below.
How much does it cost to trade? What are the commissions and fees?
The total trading cost per contract is made up of three parts:
- Exchange fees
- NFA fees
- Our commission — $0.50 per side for minis and $0.20 per side for micros
Exchange and NFA fees are set by the exchanges and regulators, not by FTMO. They are publicly available and can be verified directly on the relevant exchange’s website — for example, CME clearing fees are published here.
Because exchanges may update their fees from time to time, we don’t reproduce every fee on our website (any figure could be out of date the next day). Instead, we recommend always checking the exchange’s website for the current exchange and NFA fees, and adding our fixed commission on top.
What are the trading hours?
FTMO Futures does not allow positions to be held over the market closure. The trading day closes at 4:10 pm US Eastern Time (ET) and reopens at 6:00 pm ET. Any open positions, including pending orders, are automatically liquidated/flattened at the 4:10 pm ET close, so you must close your trades before then. This daily close applies across the platform, so make sure your positions are flat before 4:10 pm ET each day.
Note: Trading hours for futures contracts, including cryptocurrency futures such as Micro Bitcoin (MBT) and Micro Ether (MET), are set by the exchange and may vary due to scheduled exchange maintenance, daily settlement breaks, holiday sessions, and our own scheduled platform maintenance. Please check the trading hours of each symbol in the platform you are using and refer to our Trading Updates page for the latest platform maintenance times, scheduled outages and other trading-related updates. Note that any standard market closure countdown or session times displayed in the platform do not take into account amended market hours, platform maintenance times or other changes as shown on the Trading Updates page.
