What is a Forex Funding/Trading Challenge?
A Forex Funding Challenge is an industry wide established term used to describe a component of the Funding Program where traders must complete specific trading tasks and meet certain performance metrics to qualify for a virtual funded account – the FTMO Account. A Funded Trading Account is an industry-wide established term used to describe an account of virtual trading capital provided by a modern prop trading firm to traders who successfully complete the evaluation process. If you’re mentioning it, you are likely referring to the FTMO Account. Traders manage this account using popular retail CFD trading platforms like MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, or DXtrade, which allow them to open and control trades.
