Frequently Asked Questions

How do the FTMO and FTMO US Affiliate Programmes differ?

To ensure full compliance with local regulations in the United States, FTMO operates FTMO US, a distinct entity dedicated to US clients.
This means that affiliates track and manage all referrals, commissions, and payouts related to US clients separately from the standard FTMO (Global) programme.

Affiliate Dashboard:
The Affiliate Dashboard includes a programme switcher that allows affiliates to toggle between the FTMO and FTMO US dashboards.

  • FTMO Dashboard: Tracks referrals and commissions from all non-US countries in EUR (€).

  • FTMO US Dashboard: This dashboard tracks referrals, sales, and commissions generated from US clients in USD ($).

Affiliate Links:
After accepting the FTMO US Terms & Conditions, each affiliate receives a separate FTMO US affiliate link.

  • The affiliate’s unique ID remains identical across both links.

  • Smart redirection automatically detects a client’s location:

    • US clients accessing an FTMO (Global) link are redirected to the FTMO US site.

    • Non-US clients accessing an FTMO US link are redirected to the FTMO (Global) site.

  • Best practice: Use the FTMO US link for US-focused content and the FTMO link for all other promotions.

Commission Levels and Thresholds:
FTMO US operates an independent commission and level system, calculated in USD.
Performance in the FTMO US market is tracked separately from the FTMO (Global) programme, and commissions from the two programmes are not combined for level calculations.

Therefore, each affiliate maintains two distinct levels — one for FTMO and one for FTMO US — based on performance in each market.

Payouts:
Payouts for FTMO and FTMO US are handled separately and cannot be combined.

  • FTMO Payouts: Available via bank transfer, Skrill, or crypto.

  • FTMO US Payouts: They are currently processed via wire transfer.
